POLICY
Thank you for supporting my artwork! Because original oil paintings are unique, fragile, and high-value physical goods, please review the policies below regarding how your artwork is packaged, insured, and delivered.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
Cost: Standard shipping is 100% Free for all original oil painting deliveries within the United States.
Processing Time: Please allow approximately 3 to 5 business days for your painting to be securely packaged, varnished (if applicable), and dropped off at the carrier.
Carrier & Tracking: All domestic paintings are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx with full insurance and tracking. A tracking link will be automatically emailed to you as soon as your painting ships.
Signature Requirement: For your security, all original artwork will require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to sign for the package.
International Collectors
Checkouts outside the United States are currently disabled to prevent automated, inaccurate shipping fees.
If you are located outside the US, please email me at mikemcdonnell83@gmail.com with your city, country, and postal code.
I will provide you with a custom shipping quote and securely invoice you directly.
Import Taxes & Duties: International collectors are solely responsible for any local customs fees, Value Added Tax (VAT), or import duties levied by your country upon arrival. I cannot predict or control these fees.
Rolling Large Canvases (For Oversized or International Orders)
To protect large artworks and save on astronomical freight costs, paintings larger than 36"x36" or those traveling internationally may be carefully removed from their wooden stretcher bars and shipped safely rolled inside a heavy-duty tube. Your local professional frame shop can easily re-stretch the canvas upon its arrival. If a painting is shipping rolled, this will be explicitly stated in the product description or discussed with you via email prior to shipment.
Damaged Artwork in Transit
Every original painting is packed with extreme care using professional-grade, shock-absorbent materials. However, if your artwork arrives damaged due to carrier handling:
Take clear, well-lit photos of the damaged outer box before opening it.
Take clear photos of the damage to the painting itself.
Contact me within 48 hours of delivery at mikemcdonnell83@gmail.com with the photos and your order number so I can immediately open an insurance claim with the carrier and resolve the issue for you.
Returns & Exchanges
Because original oil paintings are one-of-a-kind and highly fragile to ship back and forth, all sales of original artwork are final.
I do my absolute best to photograph the artwork in natural light to represent the colors accurately, but please note that colors may vary slightly depending on your computer screen or mobile device settings.
If you would like extra photos or video footage of a painting in different lighting before purchasing, please reach out and I will be happy to send them over.
